Day 1 - Madurai
Madurai is the cultural capital of South Indian State of Tamil Nadu and the administrative headquarters of Madurai District. Madurai is an energetic, ancient city on the Vaigai River. Its skyline is dominated by the 14 colorful gopurams (gateway towers) of Meenakshi Amman Temple. Covered in bright carvings of Hindu gods, the Dravidian-style temple is a major pilgrimage site. Meenakshi Amman Temple is a historic Hindu temple located on the south side of the Vaigai River in Madurai, which is one of the most prominent landmarks of the city. It is dedicated to Parvati known as Meenakshi and her consort, Shiva as Sundareswarar. Our Representative shall welcome you at the Airport / Railway Station and proceed for check-in at the Hotel. Day 2 Madurai > Rameshwaram
Rameswaram is a town on Pamban Island, in the southeast Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It’s known for Ramanathaswamy Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site with ornate corridors, huge sculpted pillars and sacred water tanks. Devotees bathe in the waters of Agni Theertham, off the beach east of the temple. Gandamadana Parvatham is a hill with island views. A chakra (wheel) here is said to bear an imprint of Lord Rama’s feet. After the mesmrizing experience of Meenakshi Amman Temple, have breakfast and move towards another religious place, Rameshwaram. It takes about 3.5 hrs drive to reach Rameshwaram. Do the sightseeing on the first day itself which include >>Pamban Bridge>>Ramar Patham, which is believed to be the imprint of Lord Rams’s feet>>Agni Teertham>>Floating Stone>> Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial>> Dhanushkodi, the raising city. Then check into the Hotel and stay for the night. Next morning begin your day with holy dip in the Sea shore and bath on the Teertham Well and then move to Ramanatha Swamy Temple for Darshan after change over.

Day 3 and Day 4 Rameshwaram >> Thekkady
Thekkady is located 4 km away from Kumily, a plantation town in Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. The sanctuary is famous for its dense evergreen, semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savanna grass lands. It is home to herds of elephants sambar, tigers, gaur, lion-tailed macaques and Nilgiri langurs. Due to the density of the forest, sightings of elephants and especially tigers are highly unlikely. The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is thick evergreen forest. The wildlife sanctuary was declared a tiger reserve in 1978. The splendid artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar River adds to the charm of the park. The greatest attractions of Periyar are the herds of wild elephants, deer and bison that come down to drink in the lake. The sanctuary can be accessed by trekking, boating or jeep safari. It takes about 6.5 hours to drive from Rameshwraam to dense forest area of Thekkady, Kerala. Check in the hotel on arrival and go for sightseeing including Yodha Cultural Village>Green Park Spices > Periyar Lake > Elephant Junction > Periyar National Park.

Day 5 and Day 6 Thekkady >> Munnar
Munnar is a town in the Western Ghats mountain range in India’s Kerala state. A hill station and former resort for the British Raj elite, it’s surrounded by rolling hills dotted with tea plantations established in the late 19th century. Eravikulam National Park, a habitat for the endangered mountain goat Nilgiri tahr, is home to the Lakkam Waterfalls, hiking trails and 2,695m-tall Anamudi Peak. Munnar is also called the “Kashmir of South India” and is a popular honeymoon destination. It takes about 2.5 hours to reach Munnar from Thekkady. After the breakfast at Thekkady, get ready for a rousing forest and hilly journey to Munnar (Kerala). On arrival, check in the hotel and relax for a while and then move out for sight seeing balancing the two days which include Eravikulam National Park to witness jungle habitants>> Mattupetty Dam (constructed above 1800 above sea level), >> Echo Point, Tea Museum > Boating >> Attukal Water falls>> Photo Point >>

Day 7 Munnar >> Alleppey
lappuzha (or Alleppey) is a city on the Laccadive Sea in the southern Indian state of Kerala. It’s best known for houseboat cruises along the rustic Kerala backwaters, a network of tranquil canals and lagoons. Alappuzha Beach is the site of the 19th-century Alappuzha Lighthouse. The city’s Mullakkal Temple features a traditional design. Punnamada Lake’s snake boat races are a well-known annual event. It takes about 4.5 hours to reach Alleppey from Munnar. After the breakfast in Munnar, get ready to experience another honeymoon famous destination Alleppey!. On arrival, check in the hotel and after refreshments go for local sight seeing ‘Sri Krishna Swamy Temple>> Local Churches (if wish)>> Alleppey Beach (spend evening) and return to Hotel

Day 8 Alleppey >> Cochin

Serving as Kerala’s commercial, industrial and financial capital, it is the crowning jewel of the state’s tourism landscape. After having leisure breakfast, move to Cochin Railway Station / Airport for return journey to your destinations carrying sweet and fond memories !
